Leonardo Casalini, 7.7.1993, Tuscany.
Film director and photographer, his experimental work focuses on emotional investigation, according to a spiritual vision of image making.
Graduated in cinema history, he attends a photography course at Fondazione
Studio Marangoni
and a cinematography workshop with Giuseppe Lanci at Centro Sperimentale
di Cinematografia.
His visuals are for/on Avavav, Luisaviaroma, Enis, Institution by Galib
Gassanoff, Erika Cavallini, Harper’s Bazaar Arabia, Outhere Music,
Kaltblut, The Kunst, Contributor, Cap 74024, Fashion Film Festival Milano,
etc.
He is currently working on a video installation on Caravaggio for the
church of San Luigi dei Francesi in Rome,
on video memories for a publication on the Taviani brothers and on two
16mm short film projects with AI intervention.
He collaborates, as a curator, with the Paolo and Vittorio Taviani Cinema Center.
